BREAKING: FINALLY OBIANO LEAVES EFCC

 The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has released the immediate past governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano, on administrative bail

 The former governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, has finally left the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, almost a week after being clamped inside.

    Obiano was released on Wednesday night after meeting the administrative bail conditions earlier granted him.

One of the conditions slammed on the former governor was for him to produce to sureties, who must be directors on grade level 17 in the Federal Civil service.

   Another condition slammed on the former Anambra CEO was for him to produce two senior citizens, who must be landlords in Maitama, Asokoro or Wuse district of Abuja.

    It was learned that Obiano’s travel documents had also been withheld to stop him from fleeing the country until investigation over his tenure is completed.

   He was detained shortly after his handing over the reins of power to Governor Chukwuma Soludo last Thursday.

  After handing over to his successor, Professor Charles Soludo, the former governor was intercepted by EFCC operatives at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos on Thursday last week.

   He was said to be on his way out of the country to Houston, Texas in the United States before he was arrested and later transferred to the EFCC head office in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

Mama_Onyeobodo Commended for her charity works

 

Fans of a popular lady know as mama_onyebodo has commended her for charity work  to the disabled .

It was gathered that mama onyeobodo has put smiles in the face of disabled as some communities has witnessed  one two of her charity works.

Her charity work has taken her to communities in Anambra state such Nteje where she presented a wheelchair sponsored by one her fans Amachi, and another young boy, to ven road south Onitsha where she presented another wheelchair to crippled , deaf and dumb individual which was also sponsored by one her fans that base in America , it also took her to Nsugbe in Anambra state where she presented yet another wheelchair to a younger obinna which was sponsored by one her fans Annie

She also visit utu nnewi , amichi and teaching hospital nnewi where also presented wheelchair to individual sponsored by her fans.

In her remarks ,the popular lady commends and appreciates her fans for thier kind gestures and also plead for people to always remember those around and touched their lifes positively.

   One important gesture of this lady is the way she shows people love and care.

Qatar 2022: 18 Super Eagles Players Arrive Camp Ahead Of World Cup Qualifier Against Ghana

 Twenty-one Super Eagles players have arrived camp in Abuja to begin preparations for the World Cup Qatar 2022 playoff battle with the Black Stars of Ghana.  

Three-time African champions Nigeria and four-time African champions Ghana will clash at the 40,000 capacity Baba Yara Stadium on Friday evening, in the first leg of a potentially explosive fixture in which both teams will battle for a single ticket to the 22nd FIFA World Cup finals.

The latest arrivals were Leganes defender, Kenneth Omeruo, Jo Aribo, Calvin Bassey and Emmanuel Dennis who plays as a striker for Premier League side, Watford F.C. 

Others to make the list include captain William Troost -Ekong, Leon Balogun, Moses Simon Ajayi, Aina, Onyeka, Odion Ighalo, Ahmed Musa, Oghenekaro Etebo, Leicester city’s Kelechi Iheanacho, Abdullahi and goalkeepers Francis Uzoho, Daniel Akpeyi.

Speaking ahead of Super Eagles’ first training session, on Tuesday, in Abuja, Eaguavoen said the players have promised to do everything possible to beat Ghana, adding that the first game at the Baba Yaro Stadium, Kumasi, on Friday is very important to their aspirations.

Friday’s encounter in Kumasi will be the 58th clash between the two countries’ senior teams, with 18 of those matches having ended in draws.

The first encounter was on October 20, 1951, which Nigeria won 5-0.

The last time both teams were involved in a FIFA World Cup qualifying fixture was in 2001, with both seeking a spot at the Korea/Japan 2002 finals. The opening leg at the Accra Sports Stadium was stalemated 0-0, before Nigeria won the return 3-0 inside the Liberation Stadium in Port Harcourt on July 29, 2001.

Their last meeting, in a friendly match that was staged in London on October 11, 2011, ended goalless.

 

Plane Carrying 132 People Crashes In China

 China Eastern flight MU5735 was carrying 132 people when it nosedived 30,000ft into hills in Guangxi.

The cause of the Boeing 737-800's crash is being investigated. Recovery work has been hampered by difficult terrain.

There has been an outpouring of grief in China, where families of those on board are waiting anxiously for news.

Although the search for survivors is continuing, there has been no word of anyone found alive, while neither local media nor the authorities have reported any finding  of human remains.

Hundreds of responders have been sent to the crash site in Wuzhou to scour the steeply forested slopes where debris from the crash was strewn. 

Rescuers have so far found parts of the 737's wreckage. State broadcasters showed images of the charred remains of letters, bags, wallets and identity cards belonging to those on board.( abstract from bcc news

Court Strikes Out Suit Seeking To stop Umahi’s Removal From Office

 A Federal High Court in Abuja has struck out a motion on notice filed by Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, seeking to stay the execution of a judgment removing him from office.

Justice Inyang Ekwo struck out the motion on Monday following the withdrawal of the case by the plaintiffs in the suit.

A Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Chukwuma Ma-Chukwu Ume, who represented Governor Umahi and his deputy, Kelechi Igwe, informed the court of the new development.

The decision by both men, according to the lawyer, is hinged on the fact that they have now approached the Court of Appeal, Abuja Division, to reverse the March 8 decision of the court which removed them from office, to ensure they are reinstated.( channels news )

It was exactly 4.00 pm when chuboy came to Amy apartment. Amy who was relaxing on her bed sighted chuboy as he was approaching towards the entrance that leads to her door. On seeing him , she quickly stood up in a surprising look wondering why chuboy had to visit her without letting her know. They engaged in a conservation

   Amy:   what type nonsense is this , why do you have to visit me without giving me a call.

     Chuboy:    But I have been calling your line but your were'nt picking. I sent a message through your WhatsApp contact and yet you didn't respond. So I got worried and decided to come

      Amy : it's it a must to respond to your call?

     Chuboy : I don't understand , how do you mean if it's must to respond to my call.

   Amy:.  Pls chuboy am not in the mood for you arguments .

     Amy pretented as if she was reading as she was busy flipping through the pages of a book.

     Amy:  As you can see , am reading, am preparing for my final year exams.

     Chuboy : But that text book it's not related to our course 

      Amy : See me trouble oo, 'bia' chuboy what's your problem this evening? Are u now telling me the book I should read for my exams?

     Chuboy :. Why are you always harsh and blunt on me , did I do something wrong for checking on you. You have not even ask me to sit .

    Amy: it's  it a must to sit? Are u not a man? You shouldn't be complaining . Afterall men like to stand for hours. Abeg dont disturb me .come to think of it did I even ask you to come, 

     Chuboy:  What is it that I have done to you that you always sounds unfriendly .

Each time I want engage us in a friendly discussion , you come with unfriendly act of yours.

     Amy: if you feel that am unfriendly, why not leave alone mr man

  Chuboy : Mr Man? You are referring to me as mr man

   Amy : yes offcourse  or are u not a man? Have you suddenly become a woman,; if you are u let me know oo.may be I will rather say 'mrs woman' hahhahh

  Amy laughed chuboy to scorn.

Chuboy was still trying to find out why Amy

   Amy : that must be Emeka

   Chuboy:    Emeka? Who is Emeka ? 

Surprisingly , it was a female ; Sandra

           Amy opens the door 

           Amy;      Oh it's you? Sandra 

    Sandra:   yes it's me , oh ! Chuboy you are here.

        Chuboy.    Yes , how are u

        Sandra      am fine, thats by the way

           Sandra     you have a message from David

        Amy;.   Really whoaoao am excited, what's the message

       Chuboy on seeing how happy and excited Amy was , got more confused ,why suddenly Amy that was harsh and blunt became happy and excited.
