Anambra selects panelists for 2022 teachers recruitment exercise
A total of 40 panelists has been selected for the third tier and final stage of the ongoing teachers recruitment exercise in the state.
The panelists were drawn from various academic sectors in the state.
The Commissioner of Education,Prof Ngozi Chuma -Udeh addressing the panelists tasked them to discharge the duty with utmost integrity ,adding that in the matter of the state,issues of the heart is forgotten.
The Commissioner also stated that teaching should be for people who has the flair and requsite qualifications the state is looking for.
Prof Chuma -Udeh called on the panellists to live up to their reputations as learned minds,people of integrity and honesty,thus seeing to it that the best is recruited into the teaching profession.
" You are not serving yourself but the state.
The future of our children is at stake and the job you are called to do should not be taken lightly".
The Commissioner enjoined them to uphold the confidence and trust the state have in them for the success of this important exercise.
"You do not accept somebody because the person is hungry or because the person is in need of a job rather a person should be selected because he wants to serve and has passion for nuturing and imparting knowledge.
Prof Chuma Udeh stressed that the essence of the excercise is to get the best for the state,students and educational system.
One of the Chief panelists,Prof Osa Obikeze,stated that a good teacher should be a person of eloquence,one who can communicate effectively and able to articulate points clearly.
In an earlier press release from Ministry of Education,the third tier and final stage of 2022 teachers recruitment exercise is expected to start on 27th of July ,2022 and ends on 5th of August, 2022.
The exercise would be conducted in three venues,Igwebuike Grammar School,Awka,St John of God Secondary School,Awka and Anambra Universal Basic Education Board,ASUBEB.
